Rebecca Frederick, PsyD, MEd, BCBA-D

Dr. Frederick is a clinical psychologist with a master’s degree in education and a doctoral degree in clinical psychology. In addition, she earned her certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Prior to pursuing her doctorate in psychology, Dr. Frederick worked as a special educator with children on the autism spectrum. She employed techniques of Applied Behavior Analysis teaching academic and social pragmatic skills in the classrooms and the community. She also conducted parent training. Dr. Frederick completed postdoctoral training at McLean and Massachusetts General Hospitals, specializing in neuropsychological testing with a variety of neurodevelopmental disorders in both children and adults.

Dr. Frederick’s goal as a clinician is to help you learn the strategies and techniques you need to cope with whatever brings you to the office. She doesn’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, but rather tailors her methods to her clients’ needs. Primarily, she works with children, parents, couples, and individuals with anxiety, depression and behavioral issues. She also has extensive training in the areas of Autism Spectrum Disorder, mood disorders, giftedness, and ADHD.
